- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪would give these zero stars if i could. call themselves specialist insurance. after telling them i will use the car for business use and had been modified in the first 2 minutes of the conversation when getting a quote and being told "No Worries, We are specialist insurers that's what we do", after 25 extra mins going through all the questions they then say they cant quote as its being used for business use!!!! - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Lancaster Insurance is one of over 70 trading names based in Kent and Gibraltar, Lancaster portray themselves as 'brokers' who one would imagine are independent, however you will be sold one of their sister company's policies... Lancaster will then hide behind this 'erroneous' third party to justify impossible conditions that it will later ask you to meet or large price increases - the call center staff will lie to you regarding this, but should you need to cancel a policy or amend it mid-term will argue that it was all clearly stated in their t's&c's and that the computer at sign up 'isn't human' - In other words everything will be your fault! If you want to insure with them, please Google the horror story reviews (not on their website!) to make an informed decision...by Brian Wynne FlemingJanuary 01, 2017
